Recently, Singapore has announced that it would cut off internet access for government work stations for security reasons, making a surprise move among the world’s most wired countries. Of course, government services will not be affected by this act. This security measure was aimed at preventing cyberattacks and the spread of malware that would enter the government email network through internet-enabled work stations.
Internet access is the key entry for cyber criminals. With dedicated internet access in Singapore, employees are able to access the internet through their personal devices without linking to potentially sensitive email accounts or documents, that they can forward work emails to their own computers, tablets and phones.Users can access the Internet via wired and wireless ways,or access bandwidth flexibly according to the need. Except for basic function of high-speed Internet service, dedicated Internet access can accommodate a variety of new Internet applications.
